However - I just tried uploading a Getty image to Flickr, the PUBS doesn&#039;t appear to be implemented there. That made me wonder why a sharing site would choose to co-operate. Pinterest, for example, would break their business model if they used this.</description>

Thanks for the question. There is no difference in copyright, and magazines often argue that an article on an iPad is a replica and therefore doesn&#039;t require an extra payment or license fee. Hope that helps.
